PLAN’s digitization project is a collaborative effort to uncover the “Hidden Treasures” in the Florida Panhandle. PLAN member libraries contain many collections of historical and genealogical interest that are not widely available to the public. The collections in question are currently either available only by on-site use or are inaccessible because of their poor, fragile condition. Digitizing (i.e., scanning) these materials allows the public to have access to this information via the internet.
To participate in this project, member libraries should complete the application and return it to the PLAN office. Digitization projects are contingent upon funding being available.
